April 2019 Veterinary Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

Our veterinary industry analysis for April 2019 showed decreases in total active jobs as well as new jobs added as compared to March 2019. Of the new jobs posted, Animal Caretaker was #1 with 3,553 new veterinary jobs advertised for that role. PetSmart retained its top spot among hiring companies with 4,660 openings. Of note, the average job ad age increased from 26 days to 38 days.

On the other hand, veterinary industry data in regards to veterinary job seekers showed growth. iHireVeterinary’s total candidate base increased from 478K to nearly 493K with Veterinary Technician, Kennel Attendant, and Front Office Staff as the top 3 titles.
