Construction industry data for August 2019 showed continued growth across the board. Compared to July 2019, total active construction jobs on iHireConstruction increased by about 3,000 and new construction jobs posted rose from 95K to 97K. Electricians, Project Managers/Construction Managers, Carpenters, and Millwrights/Mechanics/Maintenance professionals were among the most in-demand candidates in both categories.

iHireConstruction’s membership base of construction job seekers grew to 1.33M+ with Project Managers/Construction Managers, Foremen/Supervisors, Laborers, Carpenters, and Welders/Fabricators leading the way. 25% of construction job seekers on iHireConstruction are willing to relocate, signaling that employers should consider advertising their open positions to professionals outside of their local area.
