Job Description:

• Oversee breakfast service and maintain high food quality standards
• Menu planning focused on a no sugar, mostly healthy cuisine
• Elevated plating, table setting and serving protocol
• Manage food cost, portion control, and inventory
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and pantry
• Responsible for labeling food containers and full cleaning of refrigerator weekly
• Experience with griilling, air frying, baking, and dishwashing
• Coordinate catering events and meal preparation
• Knowledge of food and beverage management
• Stay up to date on food safety regulations and maintain ServSafe certification
• Ability to cook a variety of dishes and follow Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point guidelines
• Understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements
• Promote guest meals and special events
• Answer food service and catering phone and meet with guests to plan events
• Tend to special dietarty restrictions with strict adherence
• Maintain herb and vegetable garden
• Maintain floral arrangements
• Backup to other service staff
