Position Summary: Moots Cycles is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Bookkeeper to manage all day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate financial records.

This role is essential to keeping our business operations running smoothly, handling everything from accounts payable and receivable to payroll and tax filings. If you’re a hands-on, self-motivated professional with strong bookkeeping skills, we’d love to have you on our team. Responsibilities: Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping Manage all accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts. Record bank, credit card, and e-commerce transactions daily.

Maintain and update the general ledger with accuracy and timeliness. Handle cash flow tracking, ensuring all expenses and revenues are properly recorded. Month-End & Financial Reporting Reconcile all bank, credit card accounts and prepare month-end financial reports. Assist in maintaining budget tracking and expense monitoring. Support the leadership team with financial reporting and insights.

Payroll & Compliance Process bi-weekly payroll, including tracking PTO, Simple IRA contributions, and employee benefits. Prepare and file monthly and annual sales tax returns. Inventory & Purchasing Support Record and track inventory purchases and costs in coordination with the operations team. Reconcile inventory expenses to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications 2+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing or inventory-based business. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of accrual accounting principles and financial reporting best practices. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple daily financial tasks. Proactive approach to problem-solving. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the President. Works closely with the Operations and Sales teams to ensure financial accuracy. This is a full-time, in-office position in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
