August 2019 Veterinary Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

Our veterinary industry data for August 2019 showed slight increases across the board compared to July’s numbers, signifying that the job market is heating back up again as we say goodbye to summer. There were about 200 more total active veterinary jobs on iHireVeterinary and 11.6K new veterinary jobs added throughout the month of August. Veterinarians were in the highest demand with 3,397 new openings.

Total veterinary job seekers on iHireVeterinary rose from 502K to 506K with Front Office Staff, Kennel Attendant, and Veterinary Technician as the top 3 career titles. Of the new candidates who joined our site in August, Animal Caretakers led the way (835). Overall unique visitors to iHireVeterinary also increased significantly from 54K to 67K.
