May 2018 Construction Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

In May, we added over 122,000 new construction jobs to our database, a 4% increase compared to April. The federal government stepped up hiring in the industry with the Department of the Navy and the Department of Defense standing as the top two hiring organizations during the month. Oldcastle, CB Richard Ellis Group, and Nortech Systems Inc. rounded out the top 5 hiring organizations. California, Texas, Florida, New York, and North Carolina were the top hiring states for construction jobs during May. Millwright / Mechanic / Maintenance jobs were in the highest demand during the month. Check out the full May report below.
