New iHire Research Report: The Freelance Revolution

Our newest research report just dropped: The Freelance Revolution: Insights Into the 2026 U.S. Workforce.

Freelance work is soaring, as more professionals explore the opportunities to use their specialized skills on a contract or project basis. Sharing the results of our survey of 2,250 workers, the report confirms that freelance work is no longer a niche employment option; it’s mainstream. In fact, 61.0% of respondents said freelancing is appealing, with many citing flexibility, autonomy, and financial stability as key reasons for choosing the freelance route.

Our report also advises employers on how to tap into this “on-demand” talent pool to quickly fill skills gaps, complete projects, and scale your business.

Frustration-Free Company Profile Color Selection

We’ve made customizing your company profile with your employer branding even easier. Now, when you create a custom brand color for your profile, that color will be saved in your list of options under “Enhance Your Brand With a Custom Theme.”

So, if you select a preset color, hit “Save,” and decide you want to use the custom color instead, you will be able to go back and select your previously entered custom color without re-entering it.

G2 Leader Status – Again!

G2’s Spring 2026 Grid® Report for Job Search Sites is here, and we earned our fourth-straight recognition as a Leader in our space. Products in the Leader quadrant are rated highly by G2 users and have substantial Satisfaction and Market Presence scores.

We also earned five additional badges, which are awarded to software companies to indicate superior performance in several different categories based on verified customer reviews:

• Momentum Leader: Products in the Leader tier in the Momentum Grid® rank in the top 25% of their category’s products by their users.
• Most Implementable for Small Businesses: The Most Implementable product in the Implementation Index earned the highest Implementation rating in its category.
• Best Support for Small Business: Products earning “Best Support” badges have received the highest customer satisfaction scores in the “Quality of Support” category from users at small businesses.
• High Performer - Small-Business: Products in the High Performer quadrant in the Small-Business Grid® Report have high customer Satisfaction scores and low Market Presence scores compared to the rest of the category.
