March 2019 Dental Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

Our dental industry analysis for March 2019 showed a slight decrease in total active dental jobs and new dental jobs added in the month compared to February 2019. However, with more than 29,000 new dental jobs posted last month (well above March 2018’s numbers), the dental job market is still looking healthy as we continue into Q2 2019. The most in-demand dental jobs were for Dental Assistants (10,082 total new openings posted) with Dentist-General Practitioner jobs not far behind (8,471).

In terms of our data for dental job seekers, iHireDental’s total dental candidate membership base increased from 393,380 to 402,934 with Dental Assistant, Office Manager/Practice Administrator/Receptionist, and Dental Hygienist as the top 3 most popular career titles. With Dental Assistant being the most in-demand position as well as the most popular job title on iHireDental for March 2019, it’ll be interesting to see if this trend holds for the coming months.
