April 2018 Dental Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

In keeping with the spirit of spring, April 2018 saw significant growth in new dental jobs added – just over 25,000 – setting a record for the highest amount since July 2017. Nearly 40% of those newly added dental jobs were for dental assistants, making it a great time for those professionals to find new opportunities. Top hiring states and metro areas remained the same as compared to March 2018 with California and New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA in the lead.

On the dental job seeker side, ~4,000 candidates joined iHireDental last month and the top two skills in member profiles were X-Ray Certified and Dentrix. Check out more dental industry data below in iHireDental’s April 2018 infographic.
