Internal Medicine Physician Associate Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Lawrenceville, Virginia

A corrections facility is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Lawrenceville, Virginia.
This role is for an autonomous nurse practitioner with a valid Virginia license and DEA certification. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the option of four 10-hour shifts. There is no call required. The provider will see 1820 adult patients per day and will be supported by a team of RNs and LPNs. While the clinic primarily uses paper charting, prescriptions are managed through the Sapphire system. Credentialing takes approximately two weeks.
