Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders

  • Educate patients and their families about speech, language, and swallowing disorders and their treatment

  • Collaborate with other Empowered Heroes team members, to provide comprehensive patient care

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance skills

  • Document patient progress and outcomes in electronic medical records

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

  • Current license to practice speech-language pathology in Illinois

  • 2+ years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist 

  • Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

  • Fluency in Polish or Spanish a Plus!
