Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Educate patients and their families about speech, language, and swallowing disorders and their treatment
Collaborate with other Empowered Heroes team members, to provide comprehensive patient care
Stay up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance skills
Document patient progress and outcomes in electronic medical records
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
Current license to practice speech-language pathology in Illinois
2+ years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist
Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Fluency in Polish or Spanish a Plus!
