Maintenance Technician

• Shifts are 12 hour rotating: 1 week days and 1 week nights
• Manufacturing industry experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills
• Heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot motor and control systems.
• Perform maintenance electrical services/repairs, as well as modify/install production process equipment.
• Must be able to read/understand Electrical & Mechanical drawings, as well as understand procedures to accomplish tasks.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
• Ensure all machinery is up to working standards.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Design all preventive maintenance programs.
• Resolve all maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
• Advanced knowledge of the following maintenance disciplines: AC/DC motors, gear box mechanics, lubrication principles, welding, cutting torch, NFPA 70E, and common maintenance hand tools.
• Industrial Mechanical maintenance.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
