Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel CVOR Tech

Shift : Days / 7a-5:30p, 104, 40 hrs/week, no weekends; every other holiday

Length : 25 weeks

Call: Will take 1/3 of the call.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a surgical tech
• Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years experience as a Surgery Technician
• High school diploma or GED
• Must have strong endovascular experience
• Strong cardiac experience including scrubbing hearts or a Vascular Surg Tech
• Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required)
• AHA BLS

Other Details:

• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Travelers permanent address must be greater than 100 miles

Must have strong endovascular experience** Please confirm travelers competency and frequency of these common surgeries when submitting: Angioplasty Thrombectomy Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA) Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR)
Location: MAIN OR Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio Job: Certified or non certified surgical tech (Endovascular) Shift: 410s Days (0700-1730); no weekends; every other holiday Call: Split Vascular Call for 1/3 of the month (can discuss with Mgr)
Minimum Requirements (4019): 2 years of experience as a surgical tech Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required) Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years experience as a Surgery Technician. High school diploma or GEDBLS (AHA) certification Must have Endovascular experience with experience in general and ortho preferred RTO Maximum of 5 days
SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively.
Candidate must have experience scrubbing a variety of cases including endovascular, general and ortho. Other service lines include GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma. Department consists of 20 OR suites and an average volume or census of approximately 50. Hospital will provide a locker and scrubs.
