The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting processes for various subsegments within the Corporate team in the Business Services Organization. This role involves overseeing and optimizing financial processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with global standards. The Accounting Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams across the globe to drive continuous improvement and support strategic business objectives.

What Youll Do:

Review monthly financials and research / resolve variances

Assisting with internal and external property and client transitions, as well as external audits as needed

Evaluating accounts receivable reports to confirm reconciliations are complete and resolving open issues with the team

Verify that fees and calculations are correct and in accordance with Management Agreements.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT, to achieve project objectives.

Ensure process design aligns with global standards, local statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.

Provide governance and subject matter expertise for operations across various functions.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements.

Implement best practices and benchmark standards to establish performance baselines.

Leverage technology and shared resources to enhance process performance and efficiency.

Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to ensure user adoption and process alignment.

Collaborate with Enterprise IT teams to prioritize initiatives and align technology support with business requirements.

Provide formal supervision to employees including monitoring their training and development, conducting performance evaluations and coaching, and overseeing the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Provide training and support to junior team members on processes and best practices.

Coordinating and managing the teams daily activities, establishing work schedules, and cross-training staff

What Youll Need:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of

experience and education will be considered. Experience with real estate accounting software preferred.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising,

and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance

expectations and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and

department.
