Assistant Baker

Love baking and ready to show off your skills?! Great Harvest Bread Co. in Annapolis is on the lookout for an Assistant Baker to join our awesome team in Annapolis, MD 21401. If you're all about scratch baking, whipping up desserts, baking delicious goodies, and speading your fire to other team members, we definitely want to chat with you!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Show off your bread baking, pastry making, and customer service skills to whip up top-notch products and modeling GREAT customer service.
• Keep things spick and span in the kitchen, following all the food safety rules and keeping things organized
• Develop your quick and thorough familiarity with our proprietary recipes/formulas.
• As part of the Baking Team, help carry out the nightly Baking Plan, set up displays, keep track of oven times, and supervise all phases of post-dough preparation, from proofing to cooling to packaging for sale to customers.
• Dish out fantastic customer service and keep our brand's quality standards sky-high
• Share your ideas for additional baked items to enhance our already-popular customer-favorites
• Mentor, Teach, and Train junior bakers and others, helping to create and foster a fun and rewarding career for everybody!

It's our Silver Anniversary-- 25 years in Annapolis!   Established in 2000, Great Harvest Bread Company serves up fresh, authentic breads and pastries to our local community, 6 days a week. We're now expanding our assortment and looking to level-UP our coffee game, and we want the Head Baker to be involved from the start with charting the course for our next 25 years!
