Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Are you a skilled Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)  looking for a rewarding career in a family oriented, independently owned practice? Join our team at Silvers Family Dental Care in Harrisburg, PA 17110 as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. We are more specifically looking for an experienced EFDA to help smoothly transition our practice as we add a partner starting in May or June 2025.  We are looking for a skilled individual to provide exceptional care to our patients. Initially, we are seeking 4 days a week, but we are open to discussing your optimal schedule. Looking for the perfect fit? so are we. We love to offer a paid working interview where you can come in and meet the team, making sure you are comfortable!

What we are looking for:

1. Perform chairside assisting during dental procedures
2. Conduct coronal polishing and apply sealants and fluoride varnish
3. Utilize Open Dental software for patient records (Expereince helpful but not required)
4. Assist with periodontics, temporary crowns, endodontics, and Invisalign
5. Assist with four-handed dentistry 
6. Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience, $29-31 an hour to start based on experience and benefit package chosen
