Job Responsibilities:

Candidate selected will work in a single location at Eye Health Center, Green Island, NY 12183. The vacancy is created after the previous DO retired after a great tenure with us. The candidate will see and manage/ comanage routine and medical conditions like glaucoma , dry eyes , retinal emergencies , ocular infections, tough to fit contact lenses , post operative care for cataract, oculoplastics, strabismus cases.  Candidate will work closely with the MD.  We have a full service optical attached with a board certified contact lens trainer who runs it.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and existing skill sets. 401K and health insurance benefits will be offered. Profit based bonus will be adjudicated towards monthly income. Paid time off includes 2 weeks of vacation and 1 week of family/sick leaves. Maternity leave will be subject to available temporary coverage arranged by the candidate. Attending Continued education skill- transfer courses is highly encouraged, supported and duly compensated.

Candidate should be licensed in the state of NY. Personality is of essence because we are an extremely patient centered facility. The right candidate should carry a  professional demeanor along with  being friendly and kind. We see patients of all ages and of various cultures, ethnicity and backgrounds. So it is important that the candidate is cognizant of and comfortable with diversity.  Previous experience is not a must and we are willing to help in the development of the right candidate.

Salary: $125,010.00 - $167,910.00 per year
