Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our facility. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our building and grounds, contributing directly to the well-being of our residents and the smooth operation of our facility.

Compensation & Benefits:

Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, a Stellar Senior Living Community, is a 176-bed skilled nursing facility located in Littleton, CO. We have been operating for over 50 years and are looking for an individual to continue the tradition of the best in care for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Minor plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains)
    • Basic electrical repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs and fixtures, resetting breakers)
    • Painting and drywall patching
    • Carpentry work (e.g., repairing doors, cabinets, and furniture)
    • Floor maintenance (e.g., tile repair, carpet cleaning)
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
  • Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained, including snow removal and landscaping tasks as needed.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment for events and activities.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with other facility staff to ensure a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
