Job Description
Our Client, an International Service Organization, is adding a Senior Financial Systems Accountant/Analyst to their team
In this role you will maintain the general ledger accuracy and add efficiency to the financial reporting process, some specific duties include.
- Analyze general ledger accounts
- Reconcile accounts for accuracy in IFRS, US GAAP, and Regulatory Reporting
- Maintain SAP global data is accurate and meets all related deliverables
- Resolve balancing issues
- Identify areas for improvement
- Post journal entries and review suspense and out of balance accounts
- Perform variance analysis vs plan and prior year
- Assist in report creating and design
Provide training to internal customers as necessary - Assist with special projects when assigned.
Experience Requirements and Preferences:
- B.S. in Accounting
- Some Information Systems or IT Education or Training is preferred
- CPA is a plus
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience with Regulatory, US GAAP, and IFRS reporting with a strong general ledger systems aptitude and demonstrating a technical focus in the areas of experience required as noted above.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel .
- SAP system experience preferred
- Cognos TM1 and Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to be in the office in a Hybrid Schedule
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Ability to problem-solve, and meet time-tables and deadlines, and prioritize deliverables.
