Position Summary:
Assures the delivery of patient care with the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse. Position responsibilities include ensuring continuity of patient care, serving as a resource for subordinate staff, facilitating problem solving, assisting with Quality Improvement Activities, staff education and assuring compliance with established policies and procedures and other duties as assigned. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical,
administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- RN License from Arizona or a compact state required.
- Associates degree Required. Bachelors degree or Masters Degree preferred
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program required.
- ACLS, PALS Required; BLS not required if you have ACLS
- Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred.
- Moderate Sedation required within 90 days of hire.
