Position Overview:

As a Teller at Trustco Bank, you will be the face of our branch, providing outstanding customer service and support to our valued clients. You'll enjoy a variety of responsibilities, from processing transactions to promoting our financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service by accurately and efficiently handling transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks.

Educate customers about our range of banking products and services, helping them make informed financial decisions.

Maintain a high level of accuracy when balancing cash drawers and automated teller machines.

Safeguard customer information by adhering to privacy and security policies.

Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your banking knowledge and customer service skills.

What we're looking for:

A High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus.

Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

A proactive approach to teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous banking experience is highly regarded but not requireda positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most!

Work Hours:

This is a full-time position with a varied schedule based on branch hours:

Monday: 9:00 am 5:00 pm

Tuesday: 9:00 am 3:00 pm

Wednesday: 9:00 am 5:00 pm

Thursday: 9:00 am 6:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am 6:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am 1:00 pm

Sunday: Closed

Physical Demands:

You'll be on your feet and active throughout the day, handling cash and engaging with customers, so physical stamina is essential.
