Position Overview:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team in a key role that will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to deepen their expertise and be mentored in the full life cycle of the accounting process. You'll be hands-on with core accounting functions and gain exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, inventory accounting, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
Support AP/AR functions and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries
Collaborate with internal teams to analyze inventory and cost of goods sold
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
Continuously identify and recommend process improvements

Qualifications:

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or CPG environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a collaborative team
