About the Role:

Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teachers at Brighton School work with a class of our youngest learners to implement our unique curriculum and inspire a lifelong love of learning in a joyful environment. Our curriculum covers a wide range of topics including the foundations of mathematical thinking, reading and language, creative expression, scientific exploration, and social-emotional learning. The early years of a childs education can set the stage for their entire educational career and this is your chance to make a positive impact in the lives of young students!

Responsibilities:

Implement curriculum and lessons
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress
Engage with children in educational and creative activities.
Implement effective behavior management techniques to foster a conducive learning environment.
Collaborate with other faculty and staff to enhance the school community
Provide a warm, safe, and caring environment that is kept orderly, clean, and appealing.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience working in a preschool or prekindergarten classroom environment.
Knowledge of early childhood education practices and techniques.
Strong behavior management skills.
Love and passion for working with young children.
Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
