Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking a mature, compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those in need of assistance. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients through personalized care and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Monitor and record vital signs as required, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to family members or healthcare providers.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients at all times.
• Support hospice care when needed, providing comfort and dignity during end-of-life stages.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary restrictions is beneficial.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and patient observation practices is a plus.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Experience with hospice care or home community care settings is an advantage.
