Job Description
Our client, a leading player in the advertising sector, is seeking a Real Estate Accountant to join their team. As a Real Estate Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Real Estate Accountant
**Location:** Omaha, NE (Hybrid)
**Salary Range:** $65,000 - $90,000/yr.
**What's the Job?**
+ Review, verify, and interpret executed lease agreements while managing all invoicing of tenants, affiliates, subtenants, and vendors.
+ Execute lease administration procedures, including processing new vendor agreements and preparing journal entries as needed.
+ Identify monthly payables through analysis of executed lease agreements and resolve discrepancies independently.
+ Reconcile operating, utility, and real estate tax statements for all leases and sub-leases ensuring compliance with lease terms.
+ Generate monthly intercompany summary rent statements and prepare remittance forms while collaborating with affiliates.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Business, or equivalent work experience.
+ 2-3 years of related experience in accounting, with lease administration and accounts payable experience being helpful.
+ Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel, and strong personal computer skills.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to organize resources and establish priorities.
+ Strong judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently under conflicting deadlines.
