Job Description:
This role will support sourcing activities, including contract management, cost savings tracking, and ongoing vendor management across a wide range of categories. The Strategic Sourcing Contracts Specialist will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Managers and internal stakeholders to regularly identify and mitigate risks associated with contracted services and products. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in supporting the end-to-end RFP process, contract negotiations and renewals, and various project management duties.
What You'll Be Doing:
Sourcing and Category Management Support:
- Draft initial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, exhibits, master services agreements, recruitment and staffing agreements, and amendments.
- Conduct contract reviews to ensure compliance, assess risks, and support business objectives.
- Prepare reports of expiring contracts for review by the strategic sourcing manager and other department personnel.
- Proactively discuss contract renewal, extension, or termination decisions with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Facilitate internal approvals, signature collection, and retention of all executed contracts and related documents.
- Review submitted contract requests and create vendor records.
- Ensure executed contracts and contract details are accurately entered into the system and that newly negotiated provider rates are implemented and tracked.
- Research and fulfill requests for contract history and/or copies.
Supplier Management:
- Track vendor contract compliance throughout the contract lifecycle and work with vendors and category leads to address any issues.
- Assist business stakeholders with onboarding new providers and addressing system questions.
- Act as the escalation point for supplier performance issues and help implement action plans for performance improvements.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Assist with policy implementation, administration, and maintenance for various service providers.
- Prepare reports of policy compliance for review by key stakeholders and sourcing.
Project Management:
- Assist with the preparation of miscellaneous correspondence, documents, and forms.
- Assist in putting together change management communications.
- Provide incremental support to sourcing teams for the execution of strategies within the category plans.
- Manage multiple simultaneous project activities.
What We Are Looking For:
- Requires a 4-year degree and 4 years of experience or a 2-year degree and equivalent related experience.
- Strong preference for experience supporting indirect procurement.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong preference for experience in contract reviews.
- Must possess advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Works independently with minimal guidance.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues.
- Possesses strong organizational skills.
- Identifies and resolves key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
- Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions.
- Able to adapt to a changing environment.
- Various project management duties may not be listed but can be required of individual.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.
