Fire Alarm Installer (Non-Licensed) Low Voltage

Job Title: Fire Alarm and Security Systems Technician
Pay: $22$27 per hour
Location: New Cumberland, PA
Contract Duration: 6 months.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a technician experienced in maintaining, repairing, installing, and programming fire alarm, security, nurse call, intercom, and CCTV systems, both conventional and addressable.

Responsibilities:

• Install and inspect electronic fire and security systems

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters

• Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds

• Work in confined spaces, on ladders, scaffolding, and above ceilings

• Travel or overnight stays may be required depending on project demands

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 to 2 years of experience with fire alarms, security systems, or low voltage systems

• Electrical installation and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Must pass a background check and drug test

• Ability to obtain required local or state licenses

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in fire alarm or integrated security system maintenance

• Low voltage certification or experience
