Job Description
The Position:
The Warehouse Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, conveyor systems, and equipment such as Raymond and Crown machinery. This role requires technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
What you will do in this position:
- Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment, machinery, and systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on plumbing and electrical systems, conveyor systems, and warehouse equipment, including Raymond and Crown machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services as needed.
- High knowledge and compliance with occupational safety and health (OSHA) standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Hands-on expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, conveyor systems, and equipment such as Raymond and Crown machinery.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
