This contract role involves managing and optimizing financial systems, providing technical support to the accounting team, and collaborating with IT to enhance system functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the followin g: Maintain and oversee financial systems to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues Serve as the primary contact for complex system-related problems Provide expert-level support to the accounting team Address system errors and discrepancies efficiently Ensure minimal disruption to financial processes and reporting Collaborate with IT and other departments to identify and implement system improvements Participate in system upgrades and testing Automate accounting processes to improve efficiency Define and design Business Intelligence (BI) reporting requirements Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity Generate and present reports to support decision-making Ensure seamless integration of financial systems with other business systems Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and procedures Manage interface inquiries and resolve integration issues Conduct training sessions for accounting staff and end-users Create training materials and support ongoing user development Ensure financial systems comply with regulatory requirements Monitor system security and implement necessary controls Safeguard financial data and troubleshoot issues promptly Work with external vendors and consultants to manage system upgrades Lead or participate in system implementation projects Ensure timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 5+ years experience in financial systems analysis, primarily with Oracle Financial Systems Experience with EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS and related products Strong understanding of GAAP, Financial Reporting and Forecasting Proficiency with Oracle Financials and related modules System Integration/Implementation experience Familiarity with BI Reporting Tools Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional preferred Jefferson Wells is proud to offer the following benefits to our W2 consultants:* Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Vision Plan Health Savings Account Health Flexible Spending Account Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Business Travel Insurance 401(k) Eligibility requirements apply, including a minimum-hours-worked threshold
