Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our team at Gentle Care Animal Hospital. You will work alongside Dr. Bruner, a seasoned practitioner with over 25 years of experience, in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our clinic offers state-of-the-art equipment, including dental radiographs, a new x-ray machine, laser therapy, ultrasound, and the ability to see urgent care appointments and provide boarding services.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and enjoys working in a positive, team-oriented environment. We offer competitive compensation, a great work-life balance, and the opportunity to work with a wonderful client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive, diagnostic, and medical care to animals.
- Perform surgeries and dental care procedures.
- Work collaboratively with our team of skilled professionals.
- Educate and support pet owners in managing their pets' health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with clients.
- Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate them into practice.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary state license in Kansas.
- Current DEA License preferred but not required.
- USDA Accreditation preferred but not required.
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care and client communication.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
