About the Practice

• Privately owned, multi-doctor small animal general practice that exclusively treats dogs and cats 

• Founded in 1997 by Dr. Kristine Laabs, the current practice owner

Diagnostic & Medical Equipment

• Fully digital x-ray, dental x-ray, therapeutic laser, ultrasound

• Bovie electrosurgical cautery, suction, surgical monitoring tools

• In-house Idexx VetLab (chem analyzers, SNAP pros, Sedivue, Fecal Imagyst)

• Cornerstone software – nearly paperless and lab-synced

Team & Culture

• No after-hours emergencies or boarding

Work Schedule

• Full-time = 40 hrs/week (typically four 10-hour days)

• One Saturday morning a month (8am-12pm)

• Daily 30 minute appointments from 8/9am to 6pm (last appt at 5:30pm)

•  1-2 hour lunch break from 12pm to 2pm

• Optional weekly surgery day

• Multiple nearby veterinary emergency/specialty and urgent care centers for referrals

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed DVM in South Carolina, able and ready to practice veterinary medicine in this state

• Full-time preferred, part-time available

• New grads welcome – mentorship and growth opportunities
