We serve a volume of 80-97 senior adults daily and are looking for someone who is passionate about preparing meals that are both nutritious and delicious.

Job Description:
As a Line Cook at Grand Manor Swansea, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking meals based on carefully designed recipes that meet the dietary needs of our senior adult guests. You will work closely with our team to ensure that each meal is prepared to perfection while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can follow recipes precisely, and takes pride in delivering quality meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for 80-97 senior adults daily, adhering to specific dietary requirements (e.g., low-sodium, heart-healthy).
• Follow recipes precisely to ensure meal consistency and quality.
• Work efficiently to ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and minimize food waste.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Meet the dietary needs of senior adults while ensuring each meal is flavorful and satisfying.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Proven ability to follow recipes with precision and consistency.
• Knowledge of senior adult dietary needs and the ability to prepare meals that cater to specific nutritional guidelines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for preparing quality meals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
