Application Developer, Associate

Your Role

The Digital and Marketing Member Experience team builds and maintains our Member-facing Digital applications. The Member Mobile Application Developer, Associate will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Applications. In this role you will contribute to the vision, lifecycle and implementation of our Member Mobile Application.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Develop user interfaces, application programs using the technical specifications documents
• Write and execute unit test scenarios for dev and integrated environments
• Meet quality and timeline requirements on assigned deliverables
• Receive classroom, online, or on-the-job training in computer programming concepts, methods, and techniques
• Escalate and engage senior resources to address complex issues
• Contribute to/lead lifecycle management activities on our mobile platform (i.e. Android SDK upgrades)
• Fix Incidents and develop new features in the mobile application
• Identify process, feature, and technology enhancements that contribute to a better mobile application and Member experience
• Be part of an Agile team contributing to continuous service improvements to our employee experience, processes, tools and technologies

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 0-2 prior years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio development tool required
• Experience in the mobile lifecycle: application development (application structure, device and operating system APIs, debugging, performance, security) and deployment required
• Experience submitting application through Apple app store submission or Google Play process desired
• Experience with mobile application development platforms/frameworks/ cross-platform tools desired
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum Development desired
