Our client is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst DBA to join their team. As an IT Infrastructure Analyst DBA, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various projects and applications. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Infrastructure Analyst DBA

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay Range: $60 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Manage, tune, and monitor SQL databases and servers.
  • Train existing staff in SQL Server administration and database management.
  • Analyze and validate the infrastructure needs of applications and projects.
  • Develop T-SQL scripts for repetitive tasks and ensure database security.
  • Oversee SQL Server performance, backup, and recovery processes.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer technology, system administration, computer science, or information systems, or five years+ related work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL Server tools.
  • Experience in SQL Failover Cluster management and Always On configurations.
  • Proficient in SQL Server Reporting Services and T-SQL code execution.
  • Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery requirements.
