Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and engaging organization, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. As a Receptionist, you will be part of the administrative support team, ensuring smooth communication and operations within the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Chester, New York
Pay Range: $17.50 per hour
What's the Job?
- Answer telephone calls and make proper connections to personnel in the office.
- Assist in placing outgoing calls and intra-system calls.
- Provide routine information to callers and visitors.
- Record and transmit messages efficiently.
- Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- General knowledge of simple administrative office routines and use of office equipment.
- Ability to interact with the public, either on the telephone or in personal contact.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to sit in one location for extended periods of time.
