Picker / Cleaner - Camden

Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Cleaner to join our team! The Picker/Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our shredder facility by removing nonferrous and non-metallic materials from conveyor belts and ensuring that all equipment and areas are free of debris. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and perform basic tasks involving physical labor. This role will be worked Monday through Friday 9pm - 5am OR 6am to 2pm. Must be willing to work both shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove materials such as trash, wood, paper, or plastics from conveyor belts and deposit them into the appropriate chute.
• Clean the recycling yard by sweeping, raking, and picking up materials or moving barrels and bins.
• Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place them onto conveyor belts.
• Conduct general cleaning and sweeping tasks as assigned.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure smooth facility operations.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Able to lift and handle 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform all physical, mental and environmental job functions.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
