An addiction medicine clinic is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
As much as you've heard about New York City there are still constantly changing things to do. Everywhere you look, you can find little coffee shops to stop in or bars to have a drink at after work! Take some time at Central Park to take in the sites while on assignment. There are tours for everything in the city so be sure to research what you want to do before heading to the city that never sleeps.
This position requires a 3060 day credentialing period and involves on-call coverage from 7 PM to 7 AM, seven days a week. It is phone call only, with nurses handling initial calls, resulting in minimal direct calls to the provider. The patient population is 18+, and candidates must be BC/BE in FM, IM, or addiction medicine, with a DEA, NPI, and Medicaid number. The ideal candidate must have at least five years of experience and be comfortable prescribing methadone and Suboxone.
