Internal Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Gadsden, Alabama

A Weight Loss Clinic is seeking a Internal Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Gadsden, Alabama.
This MD-only role has a 2-3 week credentialing timeframe and a schedule of two days per week, 2 PM6 PM. The facility operates Monday-Thursday (9 AM6 PM) and Friday (9 AM2 PM), with no call required. Patient volume averages 20-25 walk-ins daily, primarily adults seeking weight loss treatments (Adipex, Contrave, Mounjaro, Wegovy), along with some testosterone and NAD therapy. An AL license and DEA are required. Phlebotomists and MAs handle labs and injections, while the physician conducts brief visits and determines dosing. Paper charts are used.
