RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, maintain, and own all HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with company values and legal requirements.
  • Stay up to date on employment laws and multi-state regulations, ensuring compliance across all locations.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing issues professionally and proactively.
  • Oversee safety management, including OSHA compliance and reporting collaborating with the production and operations teams.
  • Investigate and document employee complaints.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Foster a strong workplace culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Plan and execute company-wide events, including leadership trainings and quarterly team gatherings.
  • Own retention strategies, ensuring employees feel valued and supported.
  • Manage internal communications related to HR initiatives and programs.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Lead talent acquisition, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
  • Oversee learning and development, including platform creation and training program implementation.
  • Maintain employee data and performance records, tracking reviews, departmental changes, and career growth.
  • Own and update the company's organizational chart as needed.

Payroll, Benefits & Time Management

  • Manage time tracking and attendance using Paycom.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits, maintaining Earthley Wellness' customized benefits structure.

This is an onsite, in-person position based in the Columbus, OH area

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in people management.
  • Progressive career growth in current/previous roles.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills with a track record of handling employee relations effectively.

Preferred:

  • Proven experience developing direct reports or peers into leadership roles.
  • Previous ownership of the full HR management function.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong understanding of state employment laws.
  • Experience in creating, streamlining, and maintaining processes and procedures.

Desired:

  • Hands-on experience with Paycom LMS.
  • Event management experience, including planning company events and leadership trainings.

SALARY: $70K - $85K with eligibility for quarterly bonuses
