Serve as Financial Consultant in The Ohio State University, Office of Business & Finance, Columbus, Ohio.
Duties: functions as a Financial Consultant for the Financial Planning and Analysis team responsible for the development and maintenance of the resource allocation models used in the university budget process; provides guidance and training to less senior financial analysts on budget development and long-range planning efforts; collaborates with unit fiscal offices to analyze budget to actual performance and track strategic planning efforts for university-wide initiatives; participates and pro-actively engages in development of presentations for senior leaders, including the Board of Trustees operating budget and long-range financial planning presentations, as well as leading ad-hoc reporting requests.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field, and six (6) years of experience in the following areas: (1) performing reporting, analysis and financial modeling in a large and complex organization; (2) creation and leveraging analytic, forecasting and modeling tools; (3) creation and leveraging financial projections for scenario planning; and (4) serving as an administrator for a budget planning module, such as Workdays Adaptive Planning.
Alternatively, a Masters degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field, and four (4) years of experience in the four listed areas is acceptable.
