Job Requirements and Duties:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
Inventory and Supply Planning.
Supplier negotiations on multiple levels of the relationship.
ERP/MRP Systems
Negotiate prices
Develop requirements and standards (e.g. procurement, shipping, etc.).
Analyze, optimize, and oversee inventory procedures.
Ensures inventory of parts and raw materials are adequate.
Purchase planned raw material requirements.
Purchasing experience
Maintaining supplier relationships.
Make cost reduction recommendations
Develop new raw material sources.
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to align purchasing strategies with production needs.
