Key job responsibilities
Draft and negotiate complex agreements with payers, PBMs, hubs, healthcare providers, and technology companies (including with respect to Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid programs)
Provide strategic counsel on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters
Support business development initiatives in the payer and provider space
Collaborate with the privacy, information security and compliance teams on regulatory and compliance requirements
A day in the life
You will partner with APs business development and partner services teams to structure and negotiate complex payer and provider agreements, provide strategic counsel on related regulatory matters, and help Amazon Pharmacy navigate the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. You'll collaborate with other attorneys and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Experience in healthcare transactions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pharmacy law and regulations
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid requirements
Background in payer contracting
Healthcare technology experience
Understanding of pharmacy benefit management
Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
