What You’ll Do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems

  • Monitor and adjust heating, ventilation, and cooling systems to ensure maximum efficiency

  • Provide electrical and plumbing services , including general carpentry repairs

  • Respond to and complete work requests and emergency maintenance needs

  • Conduct building, system, and equipment inspections

  • Order necessary parts and materials for technical maintenance and repairs

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

  • Perform snow removal and ice prevention for safe facility access

  • Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors to maintain required inspections and scopes of work

What We’re Looking For:
  • Education & Experience :

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC systems

    • Technical school certification in Building Maintenance-related systems preferred

  • Licenses & Certifications :

    • EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant License (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)

    • Valid driver’s license

  • Skills & Abilities :

    • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

    • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building infrastructure

    • Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

    • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and building automation software

    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes to emergencies

    • Must successfully complete a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments , including shop and warehouse settings

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, airborne particles, loud noises, and moving mechanical parts

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders, operate mechanical equipment, and work at heights
