We are currently accepting applications for LINE COOKS, PREP COOKS, CATERING COOKS, and STEWARDS for the 2025 summer season. Our season begins in early May and runs through early October. With some events lasting into the first weeks of October as well. New Employees will arrive the weekend of April 26th.

ABOUT THE HOTEL

The Historic Creede Hotel was built in 1892. the history of Creede is rich and we encourage you to look up and research the area for yourselves. It is truly one the "Last great places". Creede was once a booming silver mining town, also situated between two picturesque mountain ranges sitting in the LaGarita Caldera, at the headwaters of the Rio Grande River. The Creede Hotel located in downtown Creede, on main Street, surronded by iconic views of the cliffs, right net door to the famouos Creede Repertory Theater, it's a great spot. 

The Creede Hotel & Retaurant is shaping up to be a great place for guests to visit, eat, and hang out with their friends. We're also able to help visitors with any type of event that want to have here. In recent years, several improvements have happened at "The Hotel". Some of these include: expanding catering offerings, purchasing an off-site event center that sits right on the Rio Grande River. The Stables are a perfect spot for weddings and other types of events. We're also introducing updated hotel rooms, new menus that cater to our diverse clientele, a new bar area that will offer a great place to gather with friends, and a lot more. These are exciting times!

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are looking for experienced, hard-working folks that will work with our Executive Chef, and the many other employees, to create a great place for our guests to grab a great cocktail and some really great food. We are a fun and hard working bunch, we serve an elevated food and cocktail offering and our service experience is based on making lasting connections with oour guests. As stated above, several changes are being rolled out to increase the experience level for both our guests and employees. Our business is growing year after year and we'd love to find the talent that would consider making this a yearly summer commitment.

ABOUT HOUSING

While we have limited employee housing, we offer an elevated and locallycompetiative experience. Each person will get their own room, with a full/queen/king sized bed. Monthly rental pricing ranges bewteen $400-$750 p/room. We reduce the rent pricing compared to the general area. All of our homes offer shared bathrooms, shared kitchens, utilities are included (yes, internet is included as well), and other amenities. As an employer, it is part of our mission to create a great place for our guests and our employees. We strive to allow our team the opportunity to balance their work and personal lives. Requirements: 

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a Line Cook and knowledge of all stations
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and long hours.
• Can handle working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment

Compensation:

We base your rate of pay on your experience and how you will positively contribute to our team. All of our BOH positions are in the $18 to $26/hour range.
