Salary Range:$43.6728 To $56.4415 Hourly

Health Center Inc. is a NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. We have an opening for a Temporary Dental Hygienist for our Dental Center located in Midtown. The assignment is expected to end on June 10, 2025.

Duties and responsibilities

·         Perform patient oral inspection and complete dental charting.

·         Perform appropriate dental procedure on patient.

·         Educate patient on methods to control oral disease.

·         Reassures patients as needed.

·         Compile information for the dentist or specialist for patient diagnosis and treatment plan.

·         Participates in the quality assurance/risk management committee meetings, as requested. 

·         Performs other duties as assigned. 

Edu

Education and Experience

·         Associate’ degree.

·         New York state license in dental hygiene

·         Current BCLS certification.

·         Prior experience in a dental office or in a health care setting.
