A Southern Arizona Critical Access Hospital is actively seeking a Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join their growing healthcare organization.
The Hospital Pharmacist will consult with Providers and provide patient education on medications and adverse reactions. The Hospital Pharmacist will serve as an expert for the healthcare team including Nurses, to provide Drug and Treatment Education.
The Hospital Pharmacist will perform other duties as assigned such as drug utilization reviews, inventory management, participate in staff meetings, collaborate with the patient care teams, and provide optimal patient and family customer service.
The Pharmacist in Charge manages daily operations for this active department. The Hospital Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing staffing needs, leading process improvement initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has extensive acute care clinical experience and is an adaptable leader ready to support the team however needed.
