The Opportunity
This position works out of our Minnetonka, MN location in the Electrophysiology Medical Device division. In Abbotts Electrophysiology (EP) business, were advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
What Youll Work On
- Perform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations, and modifications on production equipment.
- Record all maintenance repair activity on production equipment and fixtures at the Minnetonka facility using CMMS.
- Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machines
- Knowledge of and experience in troubleshooting and repairing all production equipment
- Knowledge of and experience in using small tools, micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, multimeters, etc
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written procedures
- Ability to read and understand drawings and electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
- Knowledge of personal computer operations and skill in using software packages including Microsoft Office, MP2 and/or 7i CMM
- Ability to respond to and answer/solve technical questions and problem
- Tear down, inspect and rebuild production equipment
- Ability to diagnose PLC problems and take the appropriate corrective action to repair
- Requisition needed items for inventory, spare parts and emergency repairs
- Support 5S
Shift: Weekend Shift Friday through Sunday, 5am to 5:30pm ** Orientation and training will occur on weekdays before moving into the weekend shift ***
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two year technical vocational training and/or military experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience.
- Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machines

The base pay for this position is $21.05 $42.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
