The Nurse Manager of Family Birth Center will oversee the operations of Labor & Delivery and Ante Partum Departments. The Nurse Manager of Perinatal Labor and Delivery will plan, direct and coordinate all operational activities for areas of responsibility. The Nurse Manager of Women s and Children s Department will develop policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility.
The Nurse Manager of Maternal Child Health will develop the capital and operating budgets. The Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery Perinatal will ensure the departments are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff. The Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery Perinatal will be responsible for development and enforcement of policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care. The Nurse Manager of Maternal Child Health will be responsible for ensuring adequate Human Resources in maintaining acceptable turnover in areas of responsibility. Ensures operations run within budgetary guidelines.

The Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery Perinatal will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines as set by federal, state, local and other agencies (i.e, JCAHO, Medicare, CMS).
