Opthalmic Assistant

Are you passionate about eye care and patient service? Our busy ophthalmology practice is looking for a dedicated Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team!

Location: Bloomington, IN
Position: Full-time Ophthalmic Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Assist ophthalmologists with patient exams
Perform basic eye tests (visual acuity, refractions, etc.)
Administer eye drops and prepare patients for procedures
Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments
Educate patients on eye care and treatment plans
 

Qualifications:

Previous experience in eye care or medical assisting preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and grow in the field
