Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In-Park Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet the Guests and assist the Guest with any questions and or/directional assistance while hosting in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Conduct all business with a professional, courteous, and friendly attitude toward both Guests and fellow Team Members.
- Utilize the various park information resources to stay updated on the daily activities and operational information needed to assist our Guests.
- Check to ensure the number of tickets and Season Passes presented meets the amount of Guests entering the Park.
- Scan all Guests tickets and Season Passes to ensure that they are valid.
- Accurately operate a computer system to create a Season Pass using register or online media.
- Stamp hands for re-entry.
- Use a Point-of- Sale system to perform transactions and provide media to the Guests.
- Maintain strict accountability of media, coupons, etc.
- Proactively suggest available options such as Season Passes, Season Pass Parking and other passes to Guests as they make their purchase decision.
- Willing and able to work the various positions within the Guest Services Department.
- Adhere to all park and department policies.
- Assist with other Guest Services Department functions as directed by leadership.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in all Guest Services locations and throughout the park.
Team Member Expectations- Maintain proper grooming and uniform guidelines at all times.
- Follow and enforce all park policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner at all times.
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with Guest, other Team Members, and leadership.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, while paying close attention to details.
- Use efficient time management to complete required tasks and projects.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Able to work 25-40 hours per work, varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand.
- Point-of-Sale System experience preferred.
- Capable of standing at a fixed position for several hours in all weather conditions, such as rain, sun, wind, cold, etc.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds consistently, and stand/walk on various surfaces for extended periods of time.
